The LieutenantLt. Rice and Lt. Panosian are assigned to undergo basic combat aviation training, and Rice is surprised when even sitting in the cockpit of a fighter jet is enough to leave his stomach in knots. Though the base doctor offers to put him on the sick list, and Panosian suggests that flying a fighter just may not be what Rice is meant to do, Rice goes up for his first flight, and nearly comes down in an ejection seat when his hands stray too close to the ejection handles as he gets sick. Rice is determined to prove that he’s not afraid to fly, but how many others will he put at risk to prove this?
