Philip R. FreyPhilip R. Frey is an actor, writer and director. In addition to theLogBook.com, the principal outlet for his writing is his Web Site, The Hunt for Edward D. Wood, Jr. Philip has also adapted two Shakespearean plays for children, edited Shakespeare’s Hamlet into a tight, half-hour version (that still has every scene and character) and written a parody/sequel to One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest called Cuckoo II: Back to the Nest. He founded The Shakespeare Company of Greater Rochester and continues to serve as Artistic Director. As an actor, he has extensive stage experience and has appeared in a few films and television commercials. In the world of electronic media, he did “additional programming” on the Atari 2600 game collection Activision Anthology, fulfilling a longtime dream to work on a video game. Philip has recently found a legitimate (and paying) outlet for his creative impulses, serving as an Educational Media Specialist for the University of Rochester’s School of Nursing.
