Yamato 2199Japanese cable channel Family Gekijo airs the first episode of Space Battleship Yamato 2199, a modernized remake of the 1970s series Space Battleship Yamato. The series’ director is Yutaka Izubuchi (Macross, Rahxephon, Escaflowne, Record of Lodoss War).
