This is the conclusion of the second season of the new series, and sees Billie Piper’s exit as a series regular. The end of the episode introduces Catherine Tate as future companion Donna Noble, leading into the 2006 Christmas episode. This episode is the first to pit the Daleks against the Cybermen. Torchwood: Everything Changes

Starring John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness (a character originating in the first season of the revived Doctor Who), the series deals with a nexus point of strange phenomena, and a team assembled to deal with those unusual occurrences, in Cardiff, Wales. TorchwoodBBC3 premieres the fourth episode of Russell T. Davies’ science fiction series Torchwood, a more adult-themed spinoff of Doctor Who. As implied in the title, this episode is the first appearance in Torchwood of an enemy from Doctor Who lore, picking up story threads from the recent second season finale of Doctor Who. Read more

Requested (if not demanded) by fans, it includes the new version of the series theme tune and music from both seasons to date.
