Doctor WhoAfter months of seething suspicion, Earth and Draconia are on the brink of all-out war, with small skirmishes and raids already taking place. As the TARDIS brings the Doctor and Jo into the fray, they discover that those raids are not all that they seem; the attacks are being carried out by neither Earth nor Draconia, but a third party trying to force the two worlds closer to the beginning of war. The Doctor is outraged to discover that this third party is the Master, working with a hired band of Ogron mercenaries, but the Doctor’s attempts to warn both the president of Earth and the royal house on Draconia go largely unheeded – until it is too late. The Doctor, Jo, and several skeptical humans and Draconians track the Master down, discovering that the war is only part of his plan. For the Master has enlisted the help of his deadliest allies yet: the Daleks.

Children Of The Gods

The Fantastic JourneyVarian and the other travelers find what appear to be Greek ruins of a kind that Willaway thinks are at least 3,000 years old. They set up camp for the night, but trouble soon finds them: a young boy races over a hill and collapses near a stream, sweaty and exhausted. Even Scott can’t get the boy to talk about what he’s running from. When the boy tries to sneak away from the ruins, Scott follows him and they are both captured by older boys and brought back to an underground command center. A young man named “Alpha” rules here, and serves up harsh punishment to anyone who defies his style of ruling by fear. Adults long ago extinguished themselves in a war, and Alpha has discovered a cache of advanced weapons left over from that conflict. Willaway is caught entering a temple at the ruins, and Alpha sentences him to death. With his friends’ lives in the balance, Scott challenges Alpha to a duel, with the survivor earning the right to lead.

Yamato: Hazarding A Surprise Attack!

Star BlazersHaving spent so much time battling the Comet Empire base at Brumis, the Argo crew risks a warp inside the solar system to reach Saturn in time. Captain Gideon of the Andromeda welcomes the former renegades back to the fleet, and orders Wildstar to take the Argo and several other ships and outflank the Empire’s oncoming fleet of carriers. He also orders Wildstar to make sure that the most direct route of escape for any surviving Empire ships will lead them to Saturn, where the Andromeda and the rest of the Earth fleet will be laying in wait. Sandor and IQ-9 tag along with the advance, discovering the Empire fleet lurking near one of Saturn’s moons. Wildstar orders the rest of Argo’s Cosmo Fighters to launch, and personally pilots a fighter to lead the Black Tigers into battle.

Star Trek: The Next GenerationStardate 45571.2: Investigating a 200-year-old Starfleet distress signal emanating from a planet which happens to be the last known location of the starship Essex, the Enterprise sends a shuttle through the planet’s stormy atmosphere. The shuttle, with Riker, Troi and Data on board, crash lands, resulting in Riker breaking an arm. Chief O’Brien beams down with a device to boost the transporter signal so the away team can be rescued, but all four are struck by a lightning-like discharge and all but Riker are knocked out. Riker operates the transporter booster and returns them to the Enterprise, where Troi, O’Brien and Data take over the ship under the influence of aliens from the planet. They enter Ten Forward and take hostages, announcing that they are actually the spirits of the Essex crew. Demanding that their physical remains be recovered from the planet and returned to Earth, Troi – apparently taken over by the dead captain of the Essex – threatens to kill the hostages (including Keiko and her baby), and Picard’s attempts to negotiate accomplish nothing, aside from convincing him that the terrorists are not who they claim to be.

Episode Two

Century FallsAfter Tess falls into the pool beneath the waterfall, disrupting Ben’s power, Ben flees and is greeted by his uncle, who seems to have some idea of what’s going on. Alice Harkness lapses back into her nearly-comatose state after drawing a mask on a piece of paper. When Richard Naismith’s maid stops by the Harkness sisters’ shop, she mentions that Naismith’s niece and nephew are now living with him in Century Falls – the first that the sisters have heard of it. They immediately call for a gathering of the other village elders: other survivors of the 1953 fire. They form a circle and use some sort of mental power to try to peer into the lives of Tess’ mother, and then into the home of Richard Naismith. Unknown to them, the Naismith twins and Tess are watching – and Ben Naismith is using his own abilities against his elders.

Since he was the first person to meet the Prophets, and since they healed him, Akorem believes himself to be the Emissary, a role that Sisko is all too happy to relinquish to him. Akorem begins trying to lead Bajor back to the old days, when their caste system, the d’jarras, determined the careers people followed. Confusion results, and Sisko can only conclude that his mission to bring Bajor into the Federation has failed. Meanwhile, O’Brien tries to readjust his life when Keiko returns, pregnant with their second child.

Babylon 5A Minbari ship arrives at B5 while Zack needles Minbari tailors about adjusting Garibaldi’s uniform for him (and receives a needling in kind). Callenn, a new Minbari arrival, has come to take Delenn back to her home world to undergo the Dreaming, a ceremony which reveals a pivotal moment of a person’s past, a glimpse at their soul. Delenn is reluctant to reveal to Sheridan that the results of the Dreaming may require her to stay on Minbar forever. Sheridan sends Franklin and Marcus to Mars to establish contact with the Martian resistance, in an effort to gain more support to return the Earth Alliance to order. On Minbari, Delenn, with Lennier as her guide, enters the Dreaming, reliving her first meeting with the Grey Council and Dukhat, her induction into the Council after Dukhat’s tutelage, and her mentor’s death during the first contact between Minbari and humans. But Delenn also remembers the horrible truth – that her anguished cry for vengeance upon Dukhat’s death was the deciding vote that led her people into a war with the humans. With her caste looking for anything to discredit her, how can Delenn’s reputation withstand the blood of millions on her hands?

Star Trek: VoyagerStardate not given: Voyager has docked with a Varro generational ship, a huge vessel which is not only a closed ecosystem, but a closed society which avoids all contact with outsiders. However, not all of the Varro have been sticking to their xenophobic ways – and not every member of Voyager’s crew has been observing Starfleet protocols about engaging in intimate relations with alien species. Harry has fallen for Varro engineer Derran Tal, and even when unforseen biological side-effects expose their relationship to both ships’ crews, they continue to see each other, no matter whose orders they defy. What Harry doesn’t know is that Tal represents a serious threat to her own people – a splinter faction that wants to explore other worlds and cultures instead of shunning them. Without realizing it, Harry may have set in motion the downfall of the Varro civilization as its people know it.

Dalek War Chapter II

Dalek War Chapter IIMirana, operating in total secrecy, has recovered Suz, rescuing her from the burial in a collapsing star that has been ordained by the alternate universe Daleks for all humans subjected to the Dalek conversion process. Mirana and Kalendorf have discovered a horrifying secret – to avoid capture by the alternate universe Daleks, the Dalek Emperor forced its consciousness into Suz’s mind – a cohabitation she’s unaware of until Mirana tells her. Alby’s ship finally shows up for the rendezvous, but it has been commandeered by Daleks, and Alby and a refugee named Morli are hostages. The Daleks storm Mirana’s ship, taking command swiftly, but they refrain from their usual ruthlessness when Suz threatens to kill herself (which would also destroy the Emperor). At Earth’s solar system, Kalendorf’s Alliance fleet succeeds in tearing down the Daleks’ defenses, but at a high cost. Once in the solar system itself, Kalendorf and his alternate Dalek allies make startling discoveries, not the least of which is that the Daleks have terraformed Jupiter into a massive, human-habitable world by brute force. And in a Dalek laboratory, Suz’s mind is being turned inside-out, as the Daleks try to subjugate her personality permanently to bring the Emperor’s consciousness to the surface.

Stargate SG-1Mitchell finds Carter working overtime in the lab, trying to analyze a device recovered from the Ancient repository in Glastonbury. She manages to activate the device, which puts both of them out of phase and thus invisible to everyone at SGC. They hope that Daniel, who was once out of phase himself, will be able to see them, but they have no luck. Daniel’s experience does ultimately come in handy once Dr. Lee collects more information, as Daniel recognizes what’s happened to Carter and Mitchell. They work out a rudimentary form of communication using the Ancient device, which exists in both dimensions. And on Carter and Mitchell’s side, the device is a display with Merlin’s notes . . . including a gate address for a world where Merlin hid information concerning a device that could destroy ascended beings.

SGC is not uneventful during the crisis. They receive a signal from the Sodan, and Teal’c leads SG-12 to investigate. They find the Sodan village wrecked and the Sodan dead, except for a mortally wounded Haikon. The team’s efforts to return to Earth for reinforcements and medical supplies are thrwarted when the teleportation device is sabotaged; the team is attacked soon later. Teal’c realizes that their attacker is using the Sodan cloaking technology, so he cloaks himself in an effort to find the attacker. Teal’c delivers what should be a killing blow to Volnek, the warrior that Mitchell once wounded in battle. But the Sodan soon rises, looking very much undead. Haikon recovers enough to tell the SGC team that a Prior told Volnek that the Sodan would be punished for their refusal to serve the Ori. Soon after, he fell ill and began to behave irrationally; eventually he slaughtered the entire village. Mitchell decides he’s had enough of waiting around and decides to try to help Teal’c. Carter soon receives more company when Dr. Lee accidentally sends Daniel out of phase. While cloaked, Teal’c is able to see Mitchell, but he remains intangible. This makes him the perfect bait for a trap they hope will send the possessed Volnek to his final rest . . . as long as the SGC doesn’t reverse the phasing process too soon.
