Stargate SG-1An attempt to open the SGC gate is halted before transit can occur due to an unusual security concern – the ID code used to open the gate is Carter’s, but it’s also four months out of date. When a MALP is sent through to investigate, what it finds on the other side is Carter – a Replicator Carter created by Fifth. The Replicator Carter claims that she has escaped Fifth’s control and has come to warn her human counterpart of a new breed of Replicator immune to the disruptor, and Carter decides to let her through. Once on the base, the Replicator shares with Carter her memories of Fifth’s torturous indoctrination sessions, forcing the Carter clone to kill her teammates in holographic simulations. Carter warily trusts the Replicator to help find a way to destroy the almost-undetectable human Replicators, but Teal’c and O’Neill aren’t so confident. And while the Carter clone does help to fend off the Replicator ship on a heading for Earth, it turns out that the skepticism about her mission and motives wasn’t entirely unjustified.

The Defiant One

Stargate AtlantisSheppard, McKay and two scientists explore one of the other planets in Atlantis’ solar system in a jumper, finding an enormous but dormant weapons platform in orbit, possibly the Ancients’ last line of defense for Atlantis. They find a crashed Wraith ship on the planet’s surface, along with a startlingly well-preserved dead Wraith on board – one which seems to have been fed upon by another Wraith, a behavior that hasn’t been observed before. They also find a chamber with hundreds of coccooned human bodies – a sign that other Wraiths may be nearby, stockpiling food for reasons unknown. Sheppard takes this as a sign that it’s time to return to the jumper, but it’s too late – one of the junior scientists becomes the Wraith’s latest victim, and the other is captured and coccooned. Sheppard and McKay find their surviving team member, and Sheppard arms McKay and leaves him to guard the wounded man. In the meantime, Sheppard races to return to the undefended jumper, only to find that the Wraith has already discovered it – and its weapons. Sheppard can’t call for help, and even when Dr. Weir becomes worried enough to send Lt. Ford and Teyla in charge of a backup team, help is over 15 hours away.

It’s Good To Be King

Stargate SG-1As the influence of the System Lords spreads, the Tok’ra advise Earth to evacuate some of their least-defended planets. When SG-1 arrives at one of these worlds, however, they’re not exactly greeted with open arms – in fact, they’re captured and taken to the locals’ king. That king, however, turns out to be Harry Maybourne, the team’s old adversary from NID. Maybourne has achieved his new status by deciphering the runes on a nearby obelisk, which appear to predict future events – and naturally, after making a few accurate “predictions” based on his translations, Maybourne was elevated to royalty by the locals. Daniel does some deciphering of his own, and what he discovers leads the team to a timeship that once belonged to the Ancients. Even more troubling is a rune that Maybourne has already managed to read – a rune indicating that an imminent Goa’uld attack could overrun the planet and its people. O’Neill arrives to assess the situation, and decides that the timeship should be destroyed and the people – including their “king” – evacuated. But the Goa’uld arrive ahead of schedule, and they learn of the obelisk from one of Maybourne’s subjects, leading them to the timeship. O’Neill and Carter get the ship spaceborne in a hurry, forcing Daniel and Teal’c – and Maybourne – to fend for themselves.

Citizen Joe

Stargate SG-1An armed man barges into O’Neill’s home, accusing him of ruining his life. Seven years ago, this small-town barber picked up a mysterious object at a yard sale, an item which gave him vivid, recurring visions of SG-1’s exploits. Joe tells his son bedtime stories about Colonel Jack O’Neill, Teal’c and their comrades, and tells his customers at the barber shop an endless series of tales too. Finally, at his wife’s somewhat irritated urging, he begins writing these stories down and submitting them to science fiction magazines. When he sees the premiere of a new TV show called “Wormhole X-Treme,” Joe sues the show’s producers for stealing his ideas, but nothing comes of it and the show is cancelled after one episode. Joe continues his compulsive writing until his family leaves him and he loses his shop and his home. Now Joe wants his life back – not that anyone can figure out how to do this without blowing the SGC’s cover.

Reckoning Part 1

Stargate SG-1In deep space, Baal makes a power play for dominion of the entire Goa’uld race, offering the other System Lords their continued survival in exchange for their capitulation. Baal’s representative attempts to demonstrate his power by presenting the other System Lords with a prisoner – Captain Samantha Carter – but what they don’t know is that this is the Replicators’ clone of Carter, though she makes her true nature known quickly enough.

Aboard the flagship of the rebel Jaffa fleet, Daniel and Carter are acting as observers as Teal’c and Bra’tac prepare to launch their strike on the System Lords, but another Goa’uld ship emerges from hyperspace and fires on them. Replicators board the ship, and just as they prepare to abandon it to the boarding party, Daniel disappears in a flash of light, taken prisoner by the Replicators. Back on Earth, Carter begins working on a new way to disrupt the Replicators, with Thor’s help. Carter’s father reappears, with news from the Tok’ra: the Replicators have launched an all-out, galaxy-wide assault on the Goa’uld, and in the face of the overwhelming odds, rebel Jaffa are renouncing their quest for freedom and seeking the safety of the System Lords again.

Teal’c and Bra’tac convince O’Neill to give his blessing to a new strategy. With Baal’s forces spread thin, battling a Replicator-controlled fleet, the remaining rebel Jaffa will launch a new strike to take the Temple of Dakara, the symbolic seat of Goa’uld power. As Baal struggles to regain control of the situation, Anubis abandons his damaged body and takes on a new host, assuming control of the Goa’uld forces personally. And aboard a Replicator ship, the clone Carter begins her interrogation of Daniel Jackson, uncovering faint memories of an Ancient weapon that could still destroy the Replicators. And this weapon is buried on the Goa’uld world of Dakara.

Reckoning Part 2

Stargate SG-1The race is on to Dakara. Carter and her father join Teal’c and Bra’tac, where they make a shaky start on deciphering the writing on the temple that the Jaffa freedom fighters have taken over. Anubis has sent Baal and his fleet to retake the temple and end the Jaffa rebellion. And using the knowledge that the clone Carter has ripped from Daniel’s mind, the Replicators are converging on Dakara to destroy an Ancient weapon which could seal their doom. When Carter and her father manage to awaken the Ancient technology, they set about try to figure out how to make it do precisely that.

Replicators open the stargate at the SGC and quickly overrun the gate room. O’Neill seals the mountain and orders all hands to evacuate, and begins preparations to reduce Cheyenne Mountain to a smoking hole in the ground rather than allowing the Replicators to seize it. Over Dakara, three fleets engage in a pitched battle – the Jaffa rebel fleet, Baal’s forces, and Replicator-controlled Goa’uld ships. Carter manages to strike a brief truce with Baal, assuring him that the Jaffa and Goa’uld forces should join up to hold the Replicators away from Dakara. Just after a huge Replicator lander takes up a position just outside the Temple of Dakara, all of the Replicators across the galaxy freeze up: Daniel has managed to to turn his interrogation against his captors, turning the tide of battle even though it will cost him his life.

The Gift

Stargate AtlantisTeyla awakens from a terrifying dream about a Wraith infiltrating Atlantis and killing Sheppard. The rest of the Atlantis team is still trying to find a defense against the approaching Wraith hive ships before they arrive, and a new control chair is found that could allow the crew to protect the city more effectively. Teyla uncovers another possible avenue, however – the discovery of a Wraith log device reveals that some of Teyla’s people, including Teyla herself, have a small amount of Wraith DNA. Those with this rare “gift” can sometimes hear voices, and Beckett theorizes that perhaps the ability includes a fleeting telepathic link with the Wraith. Teyla agrees to be subjected to an experiment to see if she can tap into the Wraith – but if the link goes both ways, she may become a deadly liability.

Moebius Part 1

Stargate SG-1An English teacher named Daniel Jackson – fallen from favor in his career as a linguist and archaeologist – is summoned to a top-secret facility at Cheyenne Mountain, as is a junior government aeronautics employee named Samantha Carter. Once they sign confidentiality agreements, a man named General Hammond finally reveals why they’ve been brought there: an archaeological expedition in Egypt made an unusual discovery – an intact camcorder containing an intact tape. The tape shows Jackson and Carter, but radically different from the sheltered, routine lives they live now. On the videotape, Daniel Jackson claims to be a member of an elite team called SG-1 which travels through a device called the stargate; he also says that a timeship carried them into Earth’s past on a risky mission recover an alien artifact called a zero point module. Also on the tape is Jack O’Neill, a retired Air Force general, and a hulking humanoid alien named Teal’c. Apparently, the taped message was left in the event that the mission failed, resulting in radical changes to the timeline. The expedition also uncovered the time travel vehicle mentioned in the tape, which O’Neill supposedly has a unique ability to control. With no experience, and highly skeptical of what they’ve been told, it’s now up to this unlikely handful of adventurers to restore what may – or may not be – Earth’s real history.

Moebius Part 2

Stargate SG-1O’Neill commands the first flight of the timeship through a stargate located in Antarctica thanks to runes deciphered by Daniel. Despite General Hammond’s grave misgivings, Daniel and Carter accompany O’Neill’s team on a mission to find and recruit the alien called Teal’c. But on the planet where they find Teal’c, Daniel is interrogated and then released. Teal’c does find appeal in the idea of freeing the Jaffa from Goa’uld “gods” like Ra, and helps O’Neill’s team escape. But as the now-completed team returns to the timeship, Teal’c suddenly shoots Daniel, claiming that he’s been infested with a Goa’uld – and that with the knowledge extracted from Daniel’s mind, the Goa’uld will now be targeting Earth for an attack that, in this timeline, it can’t repel. O’Neill decides to risk it all to go back 5,000 years and complete SG-1’s original mission – even though he barely knows how to pilot the timeship, let alone change the course of history.

The Intruder

Stargate AtlantisAfter ferrying Atlantis’ senior staff to Earth for a briefing, the Daedalus is en route back to Atlantis when a suspicious accident leaves one of the crew dead. Concerned about possible Wraith retaliation, Colonel Caldwell – the Daedalus’ commander, still chafing over being passed over for Atlantis’ military commander position in favor of the newly-promoted Lt. Colonel Sheppard – orders the ship to stay in hyperspace. But other deadly accidents continue to happen, and it seems that even hyperspace isn’t safe for the Daedalus. Duet

Stargate AtlantisA seemingly quiet reconnaisance mission is shattered by the appearance of a Wraith dart, which leaves Dr. Beckett unharmed but snatches up Rodney and Lt. Cadman, their armed escort. Sheppard and his troops shoot the Dart down, but when the beam is reversed, only Rodney’s body appears – and yet he insists he can hear Lt. Cadman in his head. As he spends more time with his unexpected visitor, Rodney can be seen having arguments in the halls of Atlantis with someone who no one else can see or hear. Cadman insists on coaching Rodney during a much-anticipated date, but even a woman’s insight can do so much to help the socially inept scientist. And when Rodney does devise a plan to reconstitute Lt. Cadman’s body, it’s not guaranteed to help him escape with his sanity or, for that matter, his life.

Condemned

Stargate AtlantisSheppard, McKay, Teyla and Dex find a less than warm welcome waiting for them on a planet they visit through the stargate. They’re trying to beat a hasty retreat from a group of hostile humans with primitive weapons when another ship appears to cover their escape and lead them to safety. This ship belongs to a more advanced group of people who reveal that the “primitives” are, in fact, their most dangerous criminals, stranded on a remote island for life – but that island contains the planet’s lone stargate. The planet’s advanced civilization apparently enjoys a certain immunity from the Wraith’s visits because the Wraith go no further than the island for their feeding. Sheppard’s team still has to return to the island to reach the gate, however, and their jumper is shot down by primitive explosives launched from the surface. A prisoner named Torrell takes Sheppard’s team hostage and insists that McKay fix the jumper so the prisoners can escape before the next Wraith feeding. Torrell assigns another prisoner to help McKay repair the jumper, and this man makes a chilling revelation: to keep the Wraith from overrunning their society, the government has been steadily lowering the severity of crime required to deport offenders to the island. But how long before no one on the planet is safe – and can the Atlantis team escape before then?

Babylon

Stargate SG-1SG-1 goes offworld looking for a group of legendary Jaffa warriors who supposedly won their freedom thousands of years ago. Teal’c’s intelligence is sound, and the Sodan introduce themselves by ambushing the team. Mitchell guards the group’s retreat to the Stargate and gets wounded and captured for his trouble, but not before he critically injures one of the Sodan. The other warriors take Mitchell away using a type of Ancient beaming technology; the rest of SG-1 finds only the wounded Jaffa. They bring him back to Earth, hoping Dr. Lam can save his life and that they can learn of Mitchell’s fate. Their search of the planet reveals only a single obelisk with a line of Ancient writing – not nearly enough for Daniel to determine how to activate the device. And the international committee overseeing the Stargate program is not willing to fund an indefinite search mission with little chance of success.

In the Sodan village, Mitchell learns that he will have to engage in ritual combat as punishment for killing a Sodan warrior. A Sodan named Jolan begins to train him. Even as he tries to learn enough to survive the Kel Shak Lo ritual, Mitchell is concerned by the arrival of a Prior in the village. The Sodan leader, Haikon, explains that the Ancients helped the Sodan overcome the Goa’uld 5000 years ago, and gave them technology to help them stay hidden. The Sodan have worshipped the Ancients as gods ever since, but they have heard nothing for thousands of years. The Ori’s power and offer of enlightenment is a tempting offer – more tempting than the opportunity to ally themselves with Jaffa who served the Goa’uld until recently. Jolan is concerned by Haikon’s ready acceptance of the Ori; the Sodan’s traditions are important to him, especially Kel Shak Lo. It was his brother that Mitchell killed, and Jolan is determined to carry through with the battle. But his respect for Mitchell has also grown, and he may be willing to find a creative way to satisfy his honor.

Prototype

Stargate SG-1When Tok’ra intelligence detects a developing black hole, Sam fears that the Ori might be trying to build another supergate. She takes SG-5 to P3X-584 investigate, but quickly dials back to SGC – the team was sent to a completely different planet. Her investigation reveals that the gate at their destination has been altered to require an access code – travelers who fail to provide the code are shunted to another destination. They are able to crack the code, and SG-1 accompanies SG-5 to 584. Once there, they find rings that transport Mitchell, Daniel and Teal’c into an underground genetics lab, where it looks like a Goa’uld may have been trying to develop an advanced host. Daniel discovers notes written in Ancient, while Mitchell revives a man kept in a stasis chamber.

A medical team brings the revived man, Khalek, to SGC, where he claims to have been an involuntary test subject for some sort of experiment. Daniel translates enough of the notes in the lab to know better. Khalek is a genetically altered clone based partially on Anubis’s pre-ascension DNA. He has superhuman abilities, with a level of brain activity far beyond human norms. He has Anubis’s inherited genetic memory, ensuring that he will seek to conquer as his ancestors did. And he’s growing stronger – soon, perhaps, strong enough to reach ascended status on his own. Daniel argues that Earth can not afford to allow another Anubis to come into being – Khalek must at the very least be returned to stasis. And perhaps, Daniel says, SGC should strongly consider killing him outright.

Before Gen. Landry can make a decision, Richard Woolsey arrives representing the International Oversight Advisory (IOA) committee. The advanced Khalek has similarities to the Priors. Woolsey suggests that SGC study Khalek in hopes of finding a way to neutralize the Priors’ ability. If SGC is incapable of doing so, then the oversight committee will reconsider its funding. Even after Khalek nearly escapes once, Woolsey is determined to proceed. On 584, Sam discovers that Khalek will not be powerful enough to ascend without more treatments in the lab. When Khalek overhears her report, he becomes more determined than ever to escape, no matter how much of SGC stands in his way.

Ripple Effect

Stargate SG-1Stargate Command readies for an unscheduled incoming wormhole when a sudden unusual energy spike surprises everyone. The IDC confirms that SG-1 is returning early from a mission, and they step out of the stargate in their black off-world uniforms. During their debriefing, they mention several details that strike Landry as anomalous. Before they can resolve the discrepancy, the stargate activates again – and the SGC once again receives SG-1’s IDC, this time on schedule. Landry orders the iris opened, and SG-1 emerges from the wormhole wearing green off-world uniforms.

Genetic tests confirm that both teams are the real SG-1, but the green team’s mission and memories sync up with the history experienced by Landry and the rest of the SGC. The green team interviews the members of the black team to try and figure out what is going on. Landry suspects that Baal’s cloning technology may be at work, but Green Carter argues that an anomaly may have caused the wormhole to jump between parallel realities. When additional SG-1s begin contacting SGC asking to be let home, the hypothesis is pretty much confirmed. Green Carter and Black Carter theorize that a wormhole that interacted with the black hole created by the Ori’s attempt to create a super-gate to the Milky Way may have established the anomaly. Now those alternate realities that are relatively close to Green SG-1’s are being funneled there. Landry orders all gate travel suspended, except for emergencies – which still allows over a dozen alternate SG-1s to reach this reality.

One of those teams, whose members include Martouf and Dr. Fraiser, is searching for a cure for the Ori plague. But even a team of eighteen Samantha Carters can’t figure out a way to reverse the anomaly and return the stranded teams to their own realities, so Landry reluctantly concludes that in the name of protecting this reality, the anomaly must be eliminated even if it strands the other teams. Kvasir of the Asgard offers assistance in devising a plan to do so, but Landry is not the only one who is willing to take whatever steps are necessary to defend the home reality – whichever reality that is.
