Season 02 SG-1 Stargate

Secrets

Stargate SG-1As promised, Daniel returns to Abydos, one year to the day after he left, to tell his wife’s father that he has not found her yet. But Daniel is shocked to find that Sha’re has been returned to Abydos already, apparently under her own control – and very pregnant. She is bearing the child of Apophis, bred to be the future host of his Goa’uld symbiont. Teal’c wants to bring Sha’re back to the SGC as soon as possible, since she knows whatever strategic information her Goa’uld symbiont knows, but before they can get her through the stargate, a Goa’uld ship arrives – a rival of Apophis who wants to steal the child. Unable to travel to Abydos due to an appointment in Washington D.C., O’Neill, Carter and General Hammond are dealing with a crisis of their own. O’Neill has been approached by a reporter who has far too much knowledge of the stargate program, and Carter’s father, who has no knowledge of what she really does, is trying to pull strings to get her into NASA.

Season 1 Witchblade

Transcendence

WitchbladeSara Pezzini’s quest for justice is growing closer to a resolution – and growing more dangerous. Ian tracks her down, ostensibly to say goodbye to her, and she and Gabriel narrowly escape as Dante and the White Bulls follow Ian to their hideout and shoot him down in cold blood without even the slightest hint that their target was armed. McCartey balks at Pezzini’s suggestion of using herself as bait to catch Dante, but realizes there may be no better way to take the corrupt police captain down. McCartey arranges a meeting at an FBI safe house, while Gabriel – suspecting that McCartey’s still working for the White Bulls – receives a visit from someone who only Sara herself could see until now. At the meeting, Dante says too much and winds up in the middle of an FBI raid – but he also tries to take a last shot at McCartey, which Pezzini sees coming. She fires first, inflicting a mortal wound, and learns from Dante that Kenneth Irons gave the order to kill her father. McCartey is stunned when Pez leaves the takedown to confront her benefactor/antagonist, and with Gabriel in tow goes to try to get her out of trouble. Irons needs more of Pezzini’s blood to extend his life…and he’s willing to kill all of her remaining friends to ensure her cooperation.

Eureka Season 2

Family Reunion

Eureka When Carter discovers that Jo is supplying Zoe with double espressos (against Carter’s wishes) in exchange for beauty magazines, he takes great pleasure in teasing them both. His fun is interrupted by a call from Allison, and even though he’s still giving her a bit of a cold shoulder because of the dream device, he agrees to investigate the latest problem at General Dynamics. Workers have discovered that a cryogenics chamber from the 1950s originally thought to be empty is decidedly occupied – and its inhabitant is waking up. The first person ever to be revived from cryo-stasis turns out to be Pierre Fargo, Douglas Fargo’s grandfather. Pierre insists that he was put in the cryo chamber against his will, and that even though the police have a signed resignation letter on file, he had no intention of leaving Eureka. Indeed, he was planning to propose to his girlfriend Belle, Douglas’s grandmother. Pierre also claims that many of the discoveries credited to Andre Sandrov – a leading figure in Eureka – are actually based on his work. Nathan is initially skeptical, but Carter pursues the investigation – while Zoe starts an investigation of her own into her father’s past. Pierre’s major concern is initially restoring his good name, but when a side effect of the stasis accelerates his aging, it looks like he may not have much time left to do anything.

K-9 Season 1

Robot Gladiators

K-9Darius and Starkey hatch a plan to take down an old rival of Professor Gryffen’s, a man named Freddie who long ago stole Gryffen’s secret advances in robotics to create a breed of fighting robots that now feature in no-holds-barred, pay-per-view competitions. While Gryffen has been unable to get the authorities – including the Department – interested in the theft of his secrets, Freddie has become a rich man. But Darius has a robot warrior of his own to help him take down Freddie’s empire and expose the crime: K-9. What Darius and his cohorts don’t know is that Freddie has very highly-placed allies of his own who are willing to bet against the robot dog.

written by Jim Noble
directed by James Bogle
music by Christopher Elves

Guest Cast: Jared Robinsen (Thorne), Gareth Harris (Freddie), Remi Broadway (Chuckles), Michael Donnet (Boris), Josh Norbido (Pain Maker), Peter Kent (Lomax), Eugen Bekafigo (CCPC), Jason McNamara (CCPC), Josh Norbido (CCPC), Tyler Rostedt (CCPC)

Notes: K-9 himself hasn’t encountered robotic clowns before, but his former time traveling cohort the Doctor did in 1988’s The Greatest Show In The Galaxy; fortunately, the ones K-9 meets aren’t homicidal. This story, in which Thorne reveals that he knows about K-9’s regeneration capability, and will do anything necessary to induce the amount of damage necessary to force another regeneration, is the beginning of a story arc that leads up to the season finale. Robot Gladiators is one of the only season 1 episodes not to feature Robyn Moore as June Turner.
