Recovered from a somewhat ratty VHS tape, this is a bit of Lightwave animation I did during downtime at work circa 1996. I was playing with a fan-made Babylon 5 station object (and an equally fan-made Shadow ship object) and the system’s stock planet, space and nebula items (with some minor modifications); I can only assume I meant this to be from a Starfury’s point of view, given the spotlight effect at one point (if the video quality even lets you see that). There’s absolutely no anti-aliasing in this animation, and I think I probably ditched textures too to save render time, hence it looks a little more video-gamey than anything. (Foundation Imaging, I ain’t.) This was done on an Amiga 4000 with Video Toaster 4000.

Babylon 5 is, of course, © by Warner Brothers.
