Othello has the power. And he’s not giving it back.

Othello takes a power nap
So I’m trying to hurry up and update the web site so I can go to bed, and then…poof. The PC loses power. Not the whole room. Just the PC. I look up for a telltale red LED on another piece of equipment, which is plugged into a power strip in the socket just below the socket where my computers’ heavy-duty surge protector is plugged in. That light’s on, so I haven’t just blown a fuse. Both power strips are plugged in. I get down on my hands and knees, getting really worried.
Then I find the cause of the problem. Othello’s taking a “power nap” – right on top of my heavy-duty surge protector. Apparently he moved his paw and literally hit the switch to turn the thing off.
I shouldn’t be too surprised – he can also hit the master reset switch on my alarm clock if it starts beeping and annoying him. The fact that I need to go to work is apparently unimportant. 😆
