Come Back, Mrs. Noah

Housing Problem

PrimevalThe shuttle returns to Earth with none of Britannia 7’s inhabitants. Facing a stay much longer than they ever expected – perhaps stretching into months or longer – Carstairs and Fanshaw begin investigating some features of Britannia 7 intended for long-distance journeys, including a facility for recreating Earthlike environments. Mrs. Noah gravitates toward one option that replicates the environment to which she is most accustomed – British suburbia – and the rest of the station’s occupants grudgingly help her return, briefly, to her ideal life.

Season 02 SG-1 Stargate

Message In A Bottle

Stargate SG-1Exploring a lifeless world – one which Teal’c is certain once supported abundant life – SG-1 encounters an unusual artifact which seems to be emitting a power signature, despite being at least a thousand years old. Carter and Daniel both set about trying to explore the object’s mysterious nature, with a definite deadline: the NID organization wants to study its power source. When the artifact finally activates, it seems determined not to let anyone interfere with it. O’Neill and Teal’c rush it to the gate room to dispose of it, but the object fires metal spikes into the walls and floors, impaling O’Neill through the shoulder and the concrete wall behind him. General Hammond orders a lockdown of the base, and Dr. Fraiser discovers an alien organism is also being released by the device, infecting the entire base. Even when Hammond sets the base’s auto-destruct, he may be unwittingly providing the organism with the means to overrun the entire Earth.

Season 1 Witchblade

Apprehension

WitchbladePezzini and McCartey are in the midst of a roundup of prostitutes as they try to crack the case of a murdered pimp, but Pezzini is startled to find a package addressed to her. Contained within are various newspaper clippings about the suspicious deaths of NYPD officers, and a videotape recorded by her father, who suspected the existence of a corrupt elite police organization known as the White Bulls. The tape then goes on to implicate a young ambitious cop named Bruno Dante as a particularly vicious member of that order. Sara corners her former captain – also her father’s ex-partner – to ask him to verify the White Bulls’ existence. And while he is able to give her that information, and tell her that Dante killed James Pezzini, that information will cost him his life – and will mark Sara for death too.

Eureka Season 2

Duck, Duck Goose

Eureka As Jo battens the hatches in preparation for the high school science fair, Zoe deals with pressure from her IQ test and from classmates who want to be sure she knows her place in the intellectual pecking order. Carter’s efforts to join Allison and Stark in a workout at the gym are mercifully interrupted by a falling object that plows straight through his jeep. Henry suggests that Carter bring the object to Global Dynamics’ labs, where a bitter assistant researcher named Finn mans the telescopes and identifies the fallen object as a piece of space debris. Another piece of debris hits, and an amusing anecdote of automotive destruction becomes a serious situation. Finn does another scan of the area above Eureka and discovers that a huge field of debris is falling out of orbit and headed straight for Eureka. Carter suspects he’ll find clues as to why at the science fair . . . but the connection between the fair and Global Dynamics doesn’t run quite the way he expected.

Whose Birth These Triumphs Are

Star Trek: Secret VoyageHer five-year mission completed, the U.S.S. Enterprise sits in spacedock awaiting a complete refit, with the crew on extended shore leave or reassigned. But the recent discovery of a rare, powerful variant of dilithium crystals has the Federation racing to open diplomatic channels to acquire it for themselves from a reclusive, xenophobic race called the Gimtao. Captain Mercer is quietly put in command of the Enterprise with a mere six months – the ship’s pre-rebuild overhaul period – to establish diplomatic relations with the Gimtao. But Mercer’s mission is anything but simple: some of his crew is hand-picked, and some have been assigned from above, and some simply aren’t happy to be there. Some members of Mercer’s crew may even have their own agendas. Worse yet, this chaotic crew finds itself in the crossfire: another species is already at war with the Gimtao.
