Simple – we’re in the business of running a website with gobs of fascinating content, not a retail store. Warehousing and shipping all these goodies to you, as nice as the goodies are, would be a whole extra full-time job, so we signed up for Amazon’s Associates program so we can let them do the footwork. So, put simply, every link you see in theLogBook.com Store will take you to Amazon or one of their foreign subsidiaries, because we don’t ship these goodies ourselves. Honestly, the site had been around for a couple of years before it ever occurred to us to make a buck or two off the deal. theLogBook.com is all about cool reviews, articles and features; Amazon.com is all about delivering you the goodies. theLogBook.com + Amazon.com = keeping the doors open so we can talk about the goodies and send you someplace where you can get the goodies yourself.
