The Time

This is where the time is. So when someone asks you “Where has the time gone?”, point them here.

  • Two shows must be present for that week to be eligible for a podcast. Three shows are ideal, four are a tight squeeze, and more than four might mean that a “B” episode is warranted, especially if there’s a clear dividing line (i.e. three shows are prime time shows, three shows are Saturday morning kids’ shows, or three shows were made and shown for American audiences, while the other three were British shows).
  • “Orphans” can be bundled together by month/serial at a later date for “dead week” shows.
  • For a lost episode to be discussed rather than just getting a verbal acknowledgement, there must be something to review – audio recordings, scripts, etc. A lost episode with no reviewable material may drop a week back under the threshold to a single show.
  • How daily strip-syndication shows will be covered: All given episodes for a week will be summarized and discussed almost as if they’re a single episode. Shows this applies to: Battle Of The Planets, Star Blazers, He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe, Robotech.
  • Not included: the mid-1980s revival of Alfred Hitchcock Presents (due to lack of availability) and Mystery Science Theater 3000 (though it began in 1988 on local TV in Minneapolis, and migrated to cable in 1989, this series was, let’s face it, more of a ’90s phenomenon).
