Xena: Warrior PrincessThree men bring the Mystic Diamond to Aphrodite. The goddess plans to have the gem, which powers the north star, added to her constellation. But she knows that Xena and Gabrielle will try to stop her. After the goddess sends the men on with the diamond to the person who will place the stone for her, the warrior and bard arrive at the temple, along with Joxer. As the trio look around, Aphrodite places an obsession spell on them and whatever they are thinking about at that moment is what they become obsessed with. Soon the trio are at a lake with Xena fishing, Gabrielle preoccupied with herself, and Joxer acting like an ape man.

Tsunami

Xena: Warrior PrincessWhile at a village picking up supplies, Gabrielle spots Autolycus in a chain gang being led onto a ship. She boards the vessel to find out why he is there. When the crew tries to take her off the ship, she fights them and then yells for Xena. The warrior immediately jumps aboard as the ship is leaving the dock. After she learns what is going on, she pays a visit to Autolycus in the hold. As they are talking, Xena and one of the prisoners feel a jolt. On deck, the warrior learns that the water depth is lower than it should be and spots a cloud of ash in the air. She realizes that Mount Aetnas has erupted. Knowing what is going to happen, the captain turns the ship. But it is already too late, as a giant wave approaches the ship.

Xena: Warrior PrincessGabrielle attends an annual celebration honoring Pax, the personification of peace, while Xena takes care of some business elsewhere. The next morning when she arrives, the 20 foot statue of Pax is missing. Her first suspect is Autolycus, but the king of thieves insists that he didn’t take it. He wants to conduct the investigation his way to regain his title. Xena reluctantly agrees. The trio soon discover the thief’s identity and head for his fortress on a nearby island.

Sacrifice – Part 1

Xena: Warrior PrincessXena and Gabrielle find a childhood friend of the bard, Seraphin, as she is about to be sacrificed. Xena interrupts the “ceremony” and Gabrielle takes Seraphin to safety. Callisto appears and kills one of the priests, then disappears with his body. Ares also appears and tries to convince Xena to lead his army against Callisto, but she refuses. After he leaves, Xena and Gabrielle learn from Seraphin that Callisto isn’t the one they have to worry about. The warrior realizes that it is Hope who is building a following. Xena and Gabrielle know they must find a way to stop her.

Sacrifice – Part 2

Xena: Warrior PrincessXena and Gabrielle are stunned when they see that the reborn Hope looks identical to her mother. The warrior tries again to kill the evil goddess, but Hope wages her own attack, even against Gabrielle. The two manage to escape the barrage of weapons that Hope is hurling at them. Outside the halls of war, Xena is angry that Gabreille stopped her from killing Hope before when she was still vulnerable, but the bard explains about Ares’ threat. Now that Hope has completed her rebirth, she and Ares start on their own plans. Callisto realizes that she won’t be a part of those plans. She appears to Xena and offers her help in killing Hope, providing that the warrior will end her life with the Hind’s blood dagger when they are finished.

Adventures in the Sin Trade – Part 1

Xena: Warrior PrincessIn her grief over Gabrielle’s death, Xena seeks out Hades, god of the underworld. He tells her that Gabrielle didn’t come to him when she died and asks if she was part of a religious order. The warrior realizes that Gabrielle’s status as an Amazon meant that she went to the Amazon land of the dead. Hades says that he can’t help her there because he doesn’t even know where that is – but Xena does. Leaving Argo behind, she sets off for the Amazon Land of the Dead. On the way, she’s haunted by visions from her past, and hears Gabrielle’s voice calling for her.

Adventures in the Sin Trade – Part 2

Xena: Warrior PrincessXena begins to prepare the young Amazons she has befriended for the upcoming battle with Alti. She names Yakut as the new shamaness for their tribe. Alti has plans of her own, and calls forth the spirits of those she has captured to send after Xena and the Amazons. Xena has to fight her new friends, then helps them to rid themselves of the spirits. They continue on their search for Alti, but Xena soon realizes they are headed in the wrong direction. She realizes that Alti must be in the place where the Amazon dead are sent on to Eternity.

After Xena has told the Amazons more about her past and her encounters with Alti and Cyane, the evil shamaness takes control of a spider. She first makes Xena see Gabrielle, then changes to herself demanding to know who the bard is. Xena tells her that she represents what can defeat Alti. The warrior finally manages to rid herself of the spider, before falling unconcious.

A Family Affair

Xena: Warrior PrincessAs Joxer is leaving flowers at the place where Gabrielle disappeared with Hope, Xena grabs his arm. She has been searching for evidence that Gabrielle is still alive. Joxer doesn’t believe her, but he follows her to Poteidaia.

In Poteidaia, the two friends are reunited with the bard, and then learn that a man was killed by some creature just outside the village. Xena and Gabrielle return to the bard’s family’s home to set a trap for the creature. When it appears, it ignores Gabrielle and attacks Xena. The duo manage to escape it and head for the house. The creature retreats when daylight comes. Xena tells Joxer that the creature is Dahak’s grandchild, and that the person they thought was Gabrielle is really Hope. She plans to use Hope to kill the Destroyer.

Xena: Warrior PrincessWhile trying to locate Argo, Gabrille has contracted foot rot, and Xena has lice. But that’s only the beginning. They encounter Joxer, who tells them that he was hired to protect a village. He shows Xena a knife that belonged to one of the attackers. She realizes that the attackers are Scythians. Joxer takes over the job of cooking for the trio, and ends up giving Xena and Gabrielle food poisioning. Now they have to deal with upset stomachs along with their other problems as well as trying to find a way to stop the Scythians.

They have a warrant to arrest Xena for the murder of a young woman that was committed some years before. The warrior agrees to go with them, and gives Gabrielle her chakram. During the trial, Gabrielle defends her friend, but the warrior says nothing for herself. The judge sentences Xena to life in prison on Shark Island. After Xena has been taken away, Gabrielle begins to plan a way to rescue her friend.
