He&#8217;s old enough for his first &#8220;action figure Christmas,&#8221; which, in my childhood, was just the best thing <em>ever<\/em>.  I don&#8217;t have nearly the budget (or the helpful economy) that my folks had when I was growing up, but by golly, this year&#8217;s toy haul is gonna be pretty close to an &#8220;extravaganza&#8221; rating thanks to some judicious shopping.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s just one hitch: a bunch of Super Mario figures I got him were already opened.  So how do I wrap those? <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I could&#8217;ve gone el-cheapo and just dumped them in a Christmas gift sack, but that&#8217;s a bit lazy.  I had a couple of boxes sitting around, nice white ones no less, so I decided that one of these would become a Super Mario mystery box, complete with question marks.  It&#8217;s not a perfect cube, but hopefully the cool factor outstrips that.  Heck, maybe he&#8217;ll like it enough that that&#8217;s where the Super Mario goodies will &#8220;live&#8221;.  Gift wrap = done.  Permanent storage = done.  Oh, and check out the flipside of the box&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/hizzouse\/q4-11\/questionable.jpg\" alt=\"Little E's Christmas\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cool.  You know, if someone could get a license from Nintendo to make gift boxes like this in all shapes and sizes, they&#8217;d make a freakin&#8217; <em>killing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/hizzouse\/q4-11\/wrapped.jpg\" alt=\"Little E's Christmas\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In just a few days, Mario, Luigi, Woody and Buzz will be rescuing Toad and the Pizza Planet alien from&#8230; well, I dunno.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/2011\/08\/15\/little-e-vs-batman\/\">Batman?<\/a>  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/2011\/06\/14\/little-e-xterminator\/\">Daleks?<\/a>  And Wall-E will get to clean up after the big battle.
