Not much news to report – the kittens keep getting bigger and bigger. But you already knew<\/em> that. A while back I was mentioning that I had yet to get an “after” shot of Taxi to show how much smaller she is. I think I finally got that shot today – observe: <\/p>\n

Before (August 29 – about a week pre-kittens)

As you can see…Taxi is actually a tiny<\/em> little cat. Smaller than Olivia. I can’t even imagine how uncomfortable she must’ve been with all of her passengers inside.<\/p>\n

How we’re going to feed all of these little mouths, I have no idea. My latest job interview would appear to have fallen through, this time for a job that’s something I have done before<\/em> (web content producer in a news environment). I’m really starting to wonder if I’m doing something that’s just egregiously wrong<\/em> here. I’m really venturing into losing-the-faith territory here. I thought my experience counted for something, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have a string of employers who felt that way too, degree or no. It’s really starting to feel like my luck has run out now though – but I’m just not sure why<\/em>. All I can do is keep throwing stuff at the wall to see if something sticks.<\/p>\n

I’m trying not to dwell on it and let this thing eat my soul for breakfast, but at the same time…it’s not something I can really afford to relax on. More and more, I find myself really looking forward to time with my son so I can just tune the rest of the world out.
