I can&#8217;t really say I&#8217;m any less tired now, but I do have some more pictures.  <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/hizzouse\/q2-08\/driveway1.jpg\" alt=\"Driveway\" \/><br \/>\nThis is our now-more-washed-out-than-ever-before driveway.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/hizzouse\/q2-08\/driveway2.jpg\" alt=\"Driveway\" \/><br \/>\nHere&#8217;s a less artsy fartsy shot.  Nice little river.  At about 8pm last night, it brought an inch or so of water right up to the front door, though that quickly receded.  It all scoots around the house and drains into&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/hizzouse\/q2-08\/flood-panoramic.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/hizzouse\/q2-08\/flood.jpg\" alt=\"Pond\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n&#8230;this pond on the property behind us.  (You can click on the above to see a much more detailed, clumsily-stitched-together panoramic view.)  Now, to put the above in context, here&#8217;s what that pond normally looks like, from a photo taken around the time we bought the house:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/hizzouse\/thumb-1\/deckview.jpg\" alt=\"Pond\" \/><br \/>\nQuite a difference.  The pond&#8217;s runoff apparently went over both of the roads adjacent to that property this morning.  This is as high as I&#8217;ve seen this pond get since we&#8217;ve lived here.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thelogbook.com\/earl\/hizzouse\/q2-08\/roof.jpg\" alt=\"Roof, roof.
