While You Were Out

1 min read

Tonight was the first time in over two weeks that the kids weren’t over and I had the place to myself. I came home and promptly crashed on the couch after several days of only 1-3 hours of uninterrupted sleep per night.

Now here’s where it gets weird.

I woke up at about 1:30 in the morning. Feeling much better.

Also, apparently during my sleep, I punched in the code to top off my talk time & data on my phone, and perfectly cooked a frozen lasagna dinner that was in the freezer…but did not eat it.

I’m glad I accomplished the whole lasagna-baking task without burning the house down with myself in it, which would have been a bit of a bummer with the potential for ruining my whole evening.

There’s one other possibility that must be considered, however unlikely it may be…and that is that my cats punched in the airtime on my phone and cooked my dinner.

I know: unlikely.

On the other hand, it’s about as likely as me accomplishing all that stuff in my sleep with no memory of getting up and moving around.

Thanks, cats and/or Unconscious Me.
