Some pictures taken right after I got home, around 2:30am.
The street just next to my driveway – not a thing’s been done to clear it! Fortunately it’s mostly snow, but I did hit quite a few icy patches too. Right after I snapped these photos, to my horror, I heard a vehicle coming around the corner – and everyone takes that corner too fast. And here I am, standing right next to the icy street, camcorder in hand. Turns out it was sheriff’s deputies on patrol. Whew.
Perhaps less than tactfully, I pointed out that they were coming around that corner too fast! đŸ˜›
Is this photo:
A. My front yard
B. First picture from the surface of Pluto
So that’s what dogs do with snow. They eat it!
One doggy sno-cone, coming right up…
…to Xena’s nose!
I did set up my camcorder as a “dash cam” for the drive home, but saw nothing interesting – mainly because I chickened out and took Highway 64 to Alma instead of staying on I-40 (which had more overpasses, which stood a decent chance of being dangerous). 64 wasn’t exactly a cakewalk either, but I managed to keep it on the road.
