The first episode of the superhero series Birds Of Prey, based on characters from the DC Comics universe, premieres on the WB, starring Ashley Scott (Dark Angel), Dina Meyer (Star Trek: Nemesis), Rachel Skarsten (Batwoman), Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), and Ian Abercrombie. Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) guest stars; Mark Hamill (Star Wars, Batman: The Animated Series) reprises the voice of the Joker. The TV series is created, and the first episode written, by Laeta Kalogridis (Altered Carbon).
