Getting back to my entertainment promo roots here, this was yet another sweeps piece, borrowed from the Hearst station in Honolulu, where Lost is shot both on location and on a building converted into a soundstage. We aired it on the last night of sweeps, which happened to be Wednesday, so this spot ran a lot during Lost itself, believe it or not.
Not the most complicated spot in the world by a long shot, this story revisits the whole subgenre of “How clean is your [insert something you touch/eat from/drink from/have intimate relations with]?” Since the bulk of the footage we wound up with was from a local gym, I found some appropriate music and cut to that rhythm, something I haven’t done in quite a while.
