Fighting For His Life
A heart-wrenching story of a local boy who eventually succumbed to Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever after being bitten by a tick - which, incidentally, we had done a story on in May sweeps, which presented its own challenge. How do we remind viewers that we warned them about this disease without making it sound like “we told you so”? This was a well-received promo, but admittedly with subject matter, video and sound like this story had, you’d have to be trying in order to come up with anything less than a heartbreaking promo.
