Jumbled Justice
My best promo for May sweeps, this promoted Sean Brown’s package on weird and outdated laws which are still on the books in the western Arkansas/eastern Oklahoma area. It really ruined my day to know that I could no longer go whaling in Oklahoma! For this promo, Sean braved the hazards (and probably the stench) of the Sebastian County Jail. I promised him that the next promo I did for one of his packages would include a script that specified that he should have a woman on his arm and a beer in his hand…but since his next package was about convicted sex offenders, it just didn’t seem appropriate, and that promise remains unfulfilled. Sorry, Sean. Maybe in July book.
When one has to constantly hammer out promos about rapists and drunk drivers and child abusers, goofy stuff like this is a real joy. I’d bet good money that the average reporter would agree.
