Left Behind: An Experience In Sound And DramaBuck and his editor switch IDs so Buck can evade the police long enough to land an interview with Carpathia, but a complication arises in the form of a rival reporter trying to horn in on Buck’s story. Carpathia smoothly picks the imposter out and allows Buck in for an interview, during which he receives a call from the President of the United States - and offers to help the charges against Buck dropped. Buck, suspicious of Carpathia’s ties to a pair of suspicious bankers who may be backing his sudden rise to power, worries that Nicolae will demand a favor in return.
