Creator’s Notes: After several fits and starts, the first episode of Ambassador Service went online on Thursday, March 28. I had already collected up the names of the hometown newspapers from the voice actors. I emailed news releases to each one, to thelogbook.com, and to a free news release distribution web site, prweb.com. Ampcast has several dozen charts, most of which are updated twice a day. The first episode entered the Top 20 of the “Spoken Word - Comedy” chart the day after I released it. The following day it shot into the Top 5. While I was quite pleased, I didn’t want to jump to any conclusions. But over the next several weeks, each episode and a 30 second promo all followed the same course. Until I took the series offline to create the CD, Ambassador Service dominated its little corner of the charts by holding down ten of the Top 20 positions. I’m sure that dismayed former stalwarts.
