Sights Of The Expo

The Arcade PC and Home Arcade Classics cabinets were on display on the floor. A
bit too rich for my poor blood, but I could see where they'd be very
tempting if one had the dough. Then again, even if I'd had the dough, I
would've probably bought more of the CGE Services releases and European-only Videopac
exclusives from Atari2600.com.

I could post a ton of photos here, but suffice to say, the CGE Museum is
amazing. Whether it's the "Video System X" prototype of the Atari 5200, or the boxes for two unreleased Revenge Of The Jedi games
and an unreleased Lord Of The Rings cartridge,
it could be found, and lovingly gawked at, here.

A couple of my favorite Museum pieces: one, a Pick Axe Pete T-shirt, and the other a
"money bag" I seem to remember as being tied in somehow with The Great Wall Street Fortune Hunt.

The gang at Packrat VG - the dealer booth I frequented most often along with
Atari2600.com - were auctioning off a small table and lamp set made out of Atari 2600 Combat cartridges. I was far more
fascinated by their healthy selection of homebrew 2600 carts, however - a far,
far beter use for all those old copies of Combat.
