OTHER: Classic Gaming Expo 2003 Recap - My Game Room - About The Author

Classic Gaming Expo, the annual retrogaming event - if you're into this stuff at all, you've either already attended CGE or, like me, you're jumping in the starting gate, ready to go there. This year, despite the odds, despite having to fight like hell just to get time off from work for it, I went. And what a year to go to my first CGE! Hanging out and talking shop with Bill Kunkel, hearing Atari war stories from Dan Kramer, Steve Woita, Ed Rotberg, Franz Lanzinger and others, actually meeting Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, buying way too many new homebrew and used cartridges, playing so many old arcade games for the first time in 20 years, and meeting dozens of new friends who had only recently been nothing more than names on message boards and e-mail. And, in my off-time, royally screwing things up in the 24th century at Star Trek: The Experience. This is my story - some of it shared experiences that you will remember too if you were there, and some of it the kind of wackiness that only happens to me...
