Who theLogBook.com Media Is
theLogBook.com Media is the brainchild of Earl Green, whose 17+ year television and radio production career spans nearly a dozen stations in two states. His TV production work has won Addy Awards and Arkansas Associated Press Awards, and has been seen on stations such as KHBS/KHOG, KPBI-TV, and Green Bay’s WACY UPN 32, where his promotional campaigns kept WACY on the top ten list of the fastest-growing UPN stations (by audience share) for two years. For over five years, he was instrumental in building KHBS/KHOG’s web-based news video-on-demand site. He has won awards for advertising, news and sports copy writing, and his voice has been heard on numerous TV and radio stations. More from pure sentimentality than anything else, he keeps up an online archive of his radio and TV work.
In his spare time, he writes and edits the multimedia extravaganza that is theLogBook.com, and is in demand as a freelance writer; Earl has been a staff writer for Classic Gamer Magazine and This Is Not News, a columnist and forum moderator for Digital Press, and has written video game reviews on a freelance basis for All Game Guide. He served as a fact checker for Benbella Books’ “Boarding The Enterprise†anthology (2006, edited by Hugo- and Nebula-winning authors Robert J. Sawyer and David Gerrold with Leah Wilson). He also consulted on and provided material, footage and memorabilia to such shows as History Channel’s History Rocks! and Sci-Fi Channel’s Sciography, and was the DVD content producer and remastering specialist for Packrat Games’ The Odyssey2 DVD. He has created cover art for CDs and video game cartridges, and is a frequent exhibitor at the annual Oklahoma Video Gaming Exhibition.
