Star Wars: The Clone WarsWith the Malevolence wreaking havoc in the galaxy, Anakin Skywalker comes up with a bold plan to take out the bridge and the ship’s commander, General Grievous, in one fell swoop. But before he can put this plan into action, the Malevolence is seen heading for the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center, intent on destroying the Republic’s only safe haven for wounded clones. Anakin decides to take his flight group, the Shadow Squadron, through the Kaliida Nebula in order to cut off the Malevolence before it can attack while Obi-Wan’s battleships take the long way ’round. Notes: Notes: This is the second episode of the “Malevolence” trilogy. It is production number 9.

Jedi Fortune Cookie: “Easy is the path to wisdom for those not blinded by themselves.”

The Y-Wing bombers seen in this episode are meant to be the precursors of the Y-Wing fighters that appear in the original trilogy. They were designed to look as if they were “chopped” into the Y-Wings seen in episodes IV – VI.

Nala Se is from Kamino, the planet where the Clone Troopers are bred. The design of the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center is reminiscent of the clone facilities on Kamino seen in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.

Gwendoline Yeo’s acting career includes appearances on The O.C., JAG, Hannah Montana, Desperate Housewives and a short stint on General Hospital. Previous voice work includes What’s New, Scooby-Doo?, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Kim Possible and The Batman.

Director Brian Kalin O’Connell is primarily an artist and has worked in illustration and design on The Mummy and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, as well as storyboard work on The Wild.
