Notes:This episode is the first in a two-part story. It is production #16.

Jedi Fortune Cookie: “The winding path to peace is always a worthy one, regardless of how many turns it takes.”

This episode has a decidedly “retro” feel to it, with Obi-Wan’s bubble-helmeted space suit and Hondo’s saucer-shaped ships.

The scene of Obi-Wan and Anakin meeting with the captured Dooku is rendered in a way meant to evoke the scene in which Dooku interviews Obi-Wan in reverse circumstances from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
