Destroy Malevolence

The Clone WarsWith the Separatist warship the Malevolence severely damaged and on the run, its commander General Grievous is contacted by Count Dooku, who informs the droid general that a valuable hostage is heading in his direction. Sent on a diplomatic mission by Chancellor Palpatine, Senator Padmé Amidala, with droid C-3PO along, arrives in the middle of the heat of battle and her ship is taken aboard the Malevolence. Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and R2-D2 secretly board the Separatist ship in an effort to save the senator.

This episode marks the first series appearances of Padmé, C-3PO and Jedi Master Luminara.

Olivia d’Abo first appeared in 1984’s Conan the Destroyer. She went on to appearances in TV shows such as Growing Pains, Simon & Simon and Star Trek: The Next Generation and films such as Bolero and Wayne’s World 2. Other voice work includes Batman Beyond, The Legend of Tarzan (playing Jane), Justice League and The Animatrix.

Writer Tim Burns started out writing for The Jim Henson Hour. He also co-wrote the films Freaked and An American Werewolf in Paris. He co-created and produced simian-based parody show The Chimp Channel.
