Notes:This episode is production number #5.

Jedi Fortune Cookie: “Heroes are made by the times.”

Rodia is home to the Rodians, a race best known for the bounty hunter Greedo.

This episode marks the most screentime Jar Jar has received since Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

“Bombad Jedi” was written because George Lucas specifically requested an episode that centered on Jar Jar Binks.

Ahmed Best returns to the role he portrayed in all three films of the prequel trilogy. He also provided the voice of Jar Jar for several video games and the Robot Chicken: Star Wars specials.

Tom Kenny is a well-known voice actor, most famous for the role of Spongebob Squarepants, which he has performed for over five years. He previously worked in the Star Wars universe by providing the voice of Biggs Darklighter in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader and Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike for the Nintendo GameCube. Other voice work includes Godzilla: The Series, The Powerpuff Girls, Duck Dodgers, Dave the Barbarian and Kim Possible. Non-voice work includes Mr. Show, the Smashing Pumpkins’ “Tonight, Tonight” video and Mark Hamill’s Comic Book: The Movie.

Co-writer Kevin Rubio is best known to Star Wars fans for his groundbreaking parody short Troops (which also featured work from fellow Clone Wars scribe Stephen Melching). He has also made his mark with several humorous Star Wars stories appearing in Dark Horse Comics, most notably the adventures of Tag and Bink, two hapless neer-do-wells who seem to find themselves at every crucial event in the Star Wars Saga. His other work includes directing TV movies Colossor and Stormwatch and episodes of Alien Hunter.
