Down in a nearby village, the bard shows Xena the new weapons she wants to buy for her, but again, the warrior isn’t interested. Suddenly Kel’s men appear, and Gabrielle and Amarice fight them – Xena just stands and watches. The bard calls for them to retreat back to the temple.
