theLogBook.com's episode guides are among the most popular and trusted sources of program information on the web. Each guide has complete writer, director, music composer and guest actor credits, along with plot summaries (which don't give everything away in case you haven't seen it) and trivia notes. Some of these shows are still in production, while others are in the process of being chronicled, so several guides are still evolving.

Alien Nation
1989-90 American series about mankind's first contact with aliens, in this case a wayward ship full of Tenctonese slaves who are forced to integrate into Earth society as a new minority. Police detective Matt Sikes (Gary Graham) is paired with alien policeman George Francisco (Eric Pierpoint), tackling crimes both human and alien in origin, and every once in a while saving Earth in the process. Inspired by a much darker 1987 feature film starring James Caan and Mandy Patinkin, this incarnation of Alien Nation was Fox's first SF success story and created a fan uproar upon its cancellation. Several years later, Fox revived Alien Nation for a series of movies-of-the-week, the first one thankfully resolving the show's cliffhanger finale.

Andromeda
2000-2005 American-Canadian series developed from a premise written by the late Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. High Guard Captain Dylan Hunt (Kevin Sorbo) of the Systems Commonwealth awakens after spending 300 years trapped on the event horizon of a black hole. His sentient starship, the Andromeda Ascendant, was pulled from it’s confinement by the colorful crew of the salvage ship Eureka Maru. He learns that the Commonwealth no longer exists and that universe has fallen into a dark age. The Maru's crew - a mercenary, a smuggler, a fix-it man and a purple alien girl - join Hunt as he sets out to restore civilization to the three galaxies that once formed the Commonwealth.
