    The sale of Tribune Broadcasting to Sinclair Broadcast Group tops the latest list of TV station transactions submitted to the FCC for its approval, according to BIA/Kelsey.

    Multistate Deal — PRICE: $3.9 billion BUYER: Sinclair Broadcast Group (Christopher Ripley, president/CEO) SELLER: Tribune Media (Peter Kern, interim CEO) COMMENT: Sinclair Broadcast Group will acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Tribune Media for $43.50 per share, for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $3.9 billion, plus the assumption of approximately $2.7 billion in net debt.
