Don’t Give This Tape To Earl 104:

I only have detailed outlines for the first four “This Tape” podcasts because I’m not sure it pays to put that much effort into it before I know if the thing’s going to take off or not. Select Game has a well-defined audience (Odyssey2 fans); This Tape will be a slightly tougher nut to crack. I figure by the time This Tape 103 is out there, I’ll know if I’m continuing that podcast or not. I may even delay This Tape further into Select Game’s run so I can do a little bit of a promotional build-up for one within the other.

I haven’t transferred it to digital yet, but I did just recently find a cassette tape that, if the label is correct, has my first time on the air in radio…back when I was 17. If that tape is transferrable and audible, that definitely goes into This Tape 101.

In any case, there’s a semi-detailed outline for another “season” of Select Game, should it continue to play well with its audience. If not, there’s no honor lost in finishing up at 11 shows.
