A compilation of Woolfson’s songs from his stage musicals, including “Too Late” and “Closer To Heaven”, which started out as Alan Parsons Project songs and were reworked for the stage musical inspired by the Gaudi album. The cast albums for Gaudi and Gambler are insanely expensive even on the secondary market, so this is worth getting if you’re a Woolfson near-completist on a budget.

I’m a huge fan of the song “Golden Key” – despite the absence of Parsons, it sounds like the sort of song that would’ve opened up a Project album in the good old days. You can grab this album in theLogBook.com Store, by the way, either as a CD or a download.

A selection of music from four of Eric Woolfson’s musicals – Gaudi, Gambler, POE and Dancing Shadows.

Vocals have been recorded by leading West End and Broadway performers and three songs from Woolfson’s Dancing Shadows musical are released for the very first time. 16 page full colour booklet included with the lyrics to the songs.
