365 Films A Year!

I previously reviewed Fantastic Four for thelogbook.com (the review can be read here), so I won’t go into great detail, but I will say that I still really like this movie. It’s certainly not among the greats of the comic-book-to-big-screen field, but I think it’s a fun, entertaining movie.

Particularly, I like the interaction between the characters, which I think displays the generally good-natured squabbling that was seen in the comics, unburdened by the angst of the X-Men or even Spider-Man. I’m probably going to buy it on DVD again (they’re doing one of those “special editions” to boost interest in the sequel), because I’m just that big of a sucker when it comes to films I like.

If you liked Fantastic Four, I will also point you to the 1994 version, which is a lot cheaper looking, but (I think) just as fun.
