Fox premieres the first episode of the science fiction comedy-drama The Orville, starring and created by Seth McFarlane. A number of Star Trek veterans participate both in front of and behind the cameras, and in a rarity for 21st century filmmaking (especially on a TV budget), the Orville itself is a physical model. Brian George (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and Victor Garber (Alias, Legends Of Tomorrow) guest star.
